What Is Trichology?

Trichology is a specific branch of dermatology that deals with the scientific study of hair and scalp health. A trichologist studies the structure, function, and diseases that affect human hair, including the various types and causes of hair loss, as well as the effectiveness of all known surgical and non-surgical hair loss treatments. In short, a trichologist seeks to get to the root of your hair loss problem.
